Publishing more is not enough. An editorial strategy must measure discovery, reading, intent and commercial opportunities.
From ranking to intent
Impressions and positions explain discovery. On site, the story continues through article, category, reading depth, video engagement and contact intent.
The unit of analysis should not be only the page. Topic, format, source and next action reveal which combinations create demand.
A small, consistent taxonomy
GA4 recommends events for specific interactions and supports custom events when behavior does not fit a standard event. Insights should track content selection, article views, deep reads, video impressions and calls to action.
Every event should preserve slug, category, language and placement. Those parameters let us compare AI, design, marketing and analytics without depending on visible titles.
Decide with cohorts, not one week
Organic content matures over time. Monthly reviews should connect Search Console, GA4 and qualified leads, separate branded from generic discovery and recognize articles that assist conversions.
